This Saturday over 130 awesome people came out to the Museum to celebrate at our annual Purim Pandemonium. If you’ve been following the blog you know that this year’s event was themed around the Roaring 20s, especially the speakeasy culture that grew up around Prohibition. I’ve got to tell you – if you weren’t there for Purim Pandemonium this year, you really missed out. Our party was a blast and I can’t wait to start planning next year’s!
Party Goers had to brave the "Temperance Hall" to gain admission to "Club Pandemonium."
Jenn and I, as the event co-chairs, manned the ticket desk in our best flapper style.
Some of our committee members really got in on the act.
Thanks to a generous donation from Distillery 209, we were able to offer a variety of gin cocktails to really bulk up our theme (we even had a bathtub, in true speakeasy style)!
There were a lot of really awesome outfits!
There was plenty to snack on, including 18 pounds of delicious chocolate, courtesy of Naron Candy! (Did you know, they're the same folks who make Mary Sue Easter Eggs!)
The music was lively...
...And that meant LOTS of dancing! Thanks DJ Sheeno!
