This Saturday over 130 awesome people came out to the Museum to celebrate at our annual Purim Pandemonium. If you’ve been following the blog you know that this year’s event was themed around the Roaring 20s, especially the speakeasy culture that grew up around Prohibition. I’ve got to tell you – if you weren’t there for Purim Pandemonium this year, you really missed out. Our party was a blast and I can’t wait to start planning next year’s!

Thanks to a generous donation from Distillery 209, we were able to offer a variety of gin cocktails to really bulk up our theme (we even had a bathtub, in true speakeasy style)!

There was plenty to snack on, including 18 pounds of delicious chocolate, courtesy of Naron Candy! (Did you know, they're the same folks who make Mary Sue Easter Eggs!)

And thanks to Pixilated, we all had a great time posing in our very own photo booth. You can check out and order photos here:http://getpixilated.smugmug.com/

And to commemorate the event we have these lovely glasses! It's not too late to get one of your own: http://www.jewishmuseummd.org/event/purim-pandemonium
