Brews & Schmooze: First Thursdays at the JMM
June 7, 6-9pm
Each spring the Jewish community celebrates Shavuot, the holiday commemorating God giving His people the Torah, with a feast of dairy. While the origins of this tradition are unclear, we at the JMM are sure about one thing- cheese is delicious. Join us for a cheese-making demonstration by Kayam Farms, a kosher wine tasting, and a talk about the history and meaning behind Shavuout.

If you haven’t been to a Brews and Schmooze event, you’ve really been missing out. Last month’s Brews & Schmooze was a great time!

Headed out to the future site of the Exeter Community Garden to hear from Project Manager Hasdai Westbrook and Master Gardener Jason Reed...
And looking a little farther back…

In February the JMM became a coffee house, complete with live music, card games and a variety of warming beverages.

In March we got ready for Purim, putting together Shalacht Manot (traditional gift baskets) and created Prohibition-themed costume accessories for Purim Pandemonium.
Free Admission/ Light Refreshments/ Alcohol Provided for Purchase. Cheese, Cheers, and Celebration is part of our new young adult series Brews and Schmooze. Brews and Schmooze is a happy hour series, you are welcome to come as you please and participate as you like.
