Film Screening & Discussion: Mary & Max

Film Screening & Discussion
Mary & Max
Sunday March 27, 2-4pm

The opening night feature at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, Mary & Max is a claymation film that tells the stroy of a friendship between two very different people: Mary is a lonely eight-year-old living in the suburbs of Melbourne and Max is a New York Jew with Asberger's syndrome.  Their friendship takes us on a journey that explores autism, taxidermy, psychiatry, alchoholism, and obesity.  A discussion follows the screening.
