In the Lloyd Street Synagogue

This hands-on gallery presents a wonderful opportunity for younger students -– both Jewish and non-Jewish –- to explore the world of Eastern European Jewish newcomers to East Baltimore around the turn of the 20th century. Hands-on discovery and interactive stations give children and parents a chance to learn about immigrant life in the heart of Baltimore’s historic Jewish neighborhood.
