Holiday Fun: Spend Winter Break with the JMM!

All activities included with regular Museum Admission

Join us for a week of activities suitable for all ages!

 

Monday, December 26th – Celebrate the start of Hanukah with some Hanukah crafts, we will be decorating and playing dreidel plus creating star of David stained glass ornaments.

 

Tuesday, December 27th – Learn more about our current exhibit Beyond Chicken Soup: Jews and Medicine in America as we create our own doctors bags and the perfect bowl of chicken soup.

 

 

Wednesday, December 28th – The JMM is home to Maryland’s oldest synagogue, try creating your own synagogue in a box.

 

Thursday, December 29th – As we come to the end of the week have everything ready for Shabbat including decorating your own Besimin bag and mezuzahs.

 

Sunday, January 1st –  Enjoy the best of all of the projects we have had on offer all week.

 

Monday, January 2nd – See if you have what it takes to become a doctor, try suturing a  banana and injecting a grape suspended in gelatin.
