Discover the history of Jewish people in Britain. From a medieval mikvah telling the story of the first Jewish community in Britain to photographs belonging to children who travelled on the Kindertransport, this virtual tour will explore many periods of Jewish migration to Britain.

About the Speaker:

Emma Crew; Engagement Officer has been at the museum for almost three years. She works on the Jewish Museum’s informal learning programme creating and delivering dementia-friendly workshops, autism-friendly mornings, family activities and museum tours. During lockdown she has been delivering tours, talks, quizzes and family activities via Facebook Live and Zoom. Emma has an MA in Medieval Studies and is particularly interested in the Medieval Jewish Community in London, the first stop on our tour of the Jewish Museum London.
