For the seventh year in a row, JMM is pleased to partner with JVC to participate in Mitzvah Day. This year we will be taking inspiration from our exhibit Scrap Yard: Innovators of Recycling by creating donations out of recycled materials. Activities are suitable for all ages and no artistic talent is required.

This year’s beneficiaries of our Mitzvah Day efforts include the Baltimore Humane Society, Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, Inc., and the Maryland SPCA. We’ll be making toys for dogs as well as adorable tin-can owls to accompany meals. A special thank you to Harris Teeter for their donation of materials and supplies!

This program is presented in relation to the Scrap Yard: Innovators of Recycling exhibit, on view October 27, 2019 – April 2020. Tickets to Museum programs include Museum admission.
