Commemoration of Kristallnacht: Kristallnacht and the Tulsa Race Massacre

Dr. Joshua Shanes, Associate Director of Jewish Studies at the College of Charleston, will discuss the history of pogroms in Europe, the tragedy of Kristallnacht (November 9-10, 1938), and the US’s own experience of pogroms, most famously the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921.
