A Free Fall Baltimore Program

Three years ago, white supremacists came to Virginia chanting neo-Nazi slogans and rallying just outside Charlottesville’s only synagogue. Join filmmaker Alexandra Horowitz and Rabbi Tomas Gutherz for a screening and discussion of Reawakening.

The short film Reawakening documents the journey against hate that members of the Charlottesville congregation embarked on.  From self-reflection to communal action, Charlottesville’s Jews found that standing up for themselves meant standing up for justice in the broader community.
