Purim Pandemonium 2011: Are You a Hero or a Villain?

…Or maybe you’re a little bit of both…now is the time to decide for this year’s Purim Pandemonium!

Many of you are probably thinking, “Purim? That’s months away!” Here at the JMM those months don’t seem so long as we get planning for the 5th Annual Purim Pandemonium – March 19th feels right around the corner. We’ve been planning since October and we are now in high gear. We’ll be welcoming back last year’s awesome DJ Mike on Mic, providing an open bar (as always) and, of course, some tasty treats to keep your energy up!

Taskmaster Rachel Kassman, keeps the meetings on target – there is not time for fun or frivolity…until the night of the event
The Purim Committee hard at work

The Purim Pandemonium committee consists of museum staff and young adults from the community. Those of you who follow our blog regularly may recognize former intern Brittney Baltimore at the planning table. For the past several months we’ve been discussing everything from music to food to drinks to decorations and of course our theme.

This year our museum will be taken over by Heroes and Villains! Which heroes and what villains? Well, that’s up to you!
Delve into comics for some classic superhero and supervillain inspiration.
Or recreate your favorite action movie characters.
Maybe read of bit of classic literature.
But don’t forget the real world!

So choose your favorite hero or villain and come join us at this year’s Purim Pandemonium!

Buy your tickets now! Remember, you must be 21+ to attend Purim Pandemonium.
