Wearing White After Labor Day
Making Latkes Before Rosh Hashanah
Some conventions are just made to be broken. The late start of the Jewish holiday season allows us to do more in September than you might typically expect. We were able to extend Stitching History from the Holocaust until September 15 and squeeze in three additional fashion-related programs on September 8, 12, and 15.
And even as we leave our fashion summer behind, we’ll be featuring a “pop-up” exhibit and program on a Baltimore institution, celebrating 75 years of Eddie’s of Roland Park.
To complete our month of holiday convention breaking, we’re doing a DIY Sukkah program a month in advance of that holiday – to give you plenty of time to use your new Sukkah building skills at home. Come visit us in September…and feel free to wear white.
Upcoming programs
All programs take place at the Jewish Museum of Maryland unless otherwise noted. Please contact our Programs Manager at tattwood@jewishmuseummd.org / 443-873-5177 with any questions or for more information.
