Druid Hill Park- Nostalgia and Beyond
Sunday, May 22, 1-4pm

Join Barry Kessler, former JMM curator, for a behind-the-scenes tour of Druid Hill Park as it is and as it was.  As the bus winds through the park and into adjacent neighborhoods, Kessler, author of Druid Hill Park: Jewish Baltimore's Green Oasis 1920-1960, will tell you how the park served the Jewish community from the 1920s until the 1960s and what it means in the Jewish collective conscience.  He will also talk about new efforts to bring the park back to its former glory.
