Art Sparks: Passover Prep! Family Fun Online Event

Looking for a fun way to prepare for Passover as a family? On Sunday, April 10 at 2:00 pm eastern, Naomi Weintraub, JMM’s Community Artist-In-Residence, will lead a program for families and children aged 5-11 called Art Sparks: Passover Prep. Participants will learn about the matzah oven in the historic Lloyd Street Synagogue, and create their own Afikomen bags for their Passover seders

Naomi Rose Weintraub (they/them) is a mixed-media artist, based in Baltimore, MD. Naomi uses embroidery, quilting, printmaking, drawing, animations, and installation work to explore themes of Jewish ritual, activism, and play. Naomi is currently working as the Community Artist in Residence at the Jewish Museum of Maryland in Baltimore, MD.
