Power This! – Girl Power!

Sunday, July 13, 11:00am – 3:00pm

 

Join us for Opening Day as we explore the world of power with some exciting experiments.  We will electrify pickles (learn how these tasty treats can be transformed into light bulbs), create batteries, use potatoes as batteries and create circuits using special play-doh. Special thanks to In a Pickle for donating, well, the pickles!

 

We are also highlighting Girl Power!  A day to empower our future female innovators! (everyone, of course, is welcome.) We will have a team of female engineers and scientists on hand to explain the principles that you will see in action. Everyone will get to take home their own memento.
