Join the JMM for Saved!, a free virtual performance and discussion by Kolektiv Goluboy Vagon (KGV). KGV is a collective of queer and trans, gender-marginalized, post-Soviet Jewish immigrant-settlers whose work includes political education, cultural production, ritual-making, ancestral healing, mutual aid, and relationship building.

Saved! is an original performance that uses critical reflection, humor, and KGV members’ own experiences to respond to historic narratives that center US Jews in the Soviet Jewry movement. Following the performance, the JMM will facilitate a conversation with Kolektiv members and open up the space for questions from the audience.

This event is presented in connection to the JMM’s current exhibitions My Odessa: The Paintings of Yefim Ladyzhensky and Power of Protest: The Movement to Free Soviet Jews.

This event is free to attend, but capacity is limited. You can register for the event here.
