Synagogue Stories: A Tradition of Change on Lloyd Street Premiere – A Member Exclusive Event

Members of the Jewish Museum of Maryland are invited to the premiere screening of Synagogue Stories: A Tradition of Change on Lloyd Street. This 36-minute documentary, in production for the last two years, shares the voices of JMM professionals, docents and community leaders to tell the stories of the many congregations that have called the Lloyd Street Synagogue and B’nai Israel Synagogue home. The film offers glimpses of objects held in the Museum collection and oral history recordings of people who worshipped at these historic sanctuaries.
Immediately following the screening, engage in an interactive Q&A.
Weather permitting, join us for kosher bagels and coffee, plus a chance to schmooze, prior to the screening.
Reserve tickets to confirm your seat as capacity is limited.
The project was made possible by the staff of the JMM and the support of Herbert Bearman Foundation, Inc., Maryland Heritage Areas Authority, and Baltimore National Heritage Area.
