Experience a multi-sensory exploration of a fascinating culture with a long and often unknown history. Talmud to Tik: Iraqi Jewish Heritage Day promises to engage and delight the whole family. Celebrate Iraqi Jewish Heritage through fun activities, hands-on crafts, dancing, music, and, of course, food.
Create your own evil-eye bracelets, dance to Iraqi music and make your own tik (a Sephardic and Mizrahi Torah holder).
Sample traditional Iraqi foods and make your own tasty treats. Dive into the richness of Iraqi Jewish culture through a day that complements the current exhibit Discovery and Recovery: Preserving Iraqi Jewish Heritage.

12:00pm Iraqi Spice Class with Jacqueline Feldman, Sephardic Jews in DC (perfect for all ages). More Info.
