For All the World To Hear: Stories From the Struggle for Civil Rights
This live, oral history performance is part of a dynamic humanities project in which 10 senior citizens from the Baltimore area tell personal stories about their involvement with the struggle for civil rights.
This program is a companion piece to the gallery exhibition at UMBC "For All the World to See: Visual Culture and the Struggle for Civil Rights," which is open until March 10, 2013 at the Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture . For more info on the gallery (and online) exhibition, click here.
"For All the World to Hear" is organized by Center for Art, Design & Visual Culture at UMBC and made possible by a grant from the Maryland Humanities Council, through support from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
