Jews on the Move: Exhibit Opening at Johns Hopkins University
The Jewish Museum of Maryland and the Program in Museums
and Society at The Johns Hopkins University invite you to
the opening of Jews on the Move: Baltimore and the
Suburban Exodus, 1945–1968.
American Jews joined the nationwide rush to suburbia in
the post-World War II era. Jews on the Move explores one
community’s swift transformation from urban to suburban.
This exhibit is a collaborative project of the Jewish Museum of
Maryland and students in the Program in Museums and Society.
It was made possible through a generous grant from the
Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Levinson’s classic Baltimore film, Diner, in the Hodson Hall
