Apply Now: JMM Educator Cohort


The Jewish Museum of Maryland (JMM) is seeking graduate students to form an Educator Cohort
Members of the cohort will:
- Develop digital and onsite evergreen education programs for the Museum
- Provide feedback on other cohort members’ programs
- Empower teachers to foster discussion and share resources with their students
Length of commitment: November 2022-June 2023
Ideal Candidates: Graduate students and emerging professionals
Compensation: $5,000 stipend distributed in monthly installments
Cohort members will have an opportunity to reapply to deliver developed programs in the 2023-2024 school year. A different pay scale will apply at that time.
Ideal candidates will:
- Root their practice in anti-bias education, multidirectional memory, and social-emotional learning
- Have experience in a related field, including but not limited to: education, Jewish studies, history, immigration studies, or museum studies
- Seek to hone their educational skills and to grow as museum professionals
- Have some availability for onsite work on the JMM campus
