Lola Hahn has been an Archives Volunteer for the past two months. Lola grew up in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Baltimore in 1988 to be the General Manager of Saks Fifth Avenue in Owings Mills. She has held several exciting executive positions for 30+ years in the women’s fashion industry in store management, merchandise buying and development and directing product and marketing programs. Her career took her to many parts of the world, meeting key designers and allowing her to create and produce exclusive items for the fashion customer. She also served as Goucher Hillel’s Development Director.

Lola decided to become involved in the JMM because she was very excited with the direction the museum was taking and felt this would be the perfect time to get more involved. She has served as a volunteer in some capacity since she was 15 years old and has always found it important to get involved and support different causes and organizations that she is passionate about.

At the JMM, she has also served on the Development Committee for the past year and has recently been selected to be on the Board of Directors.  Last year, she found it very rewarding participating in the Holocaust Memory Reconstruction Project.

In her spare time, Lola loves hanging out with her grandchildren, reading, working out, traveling and playing canasta.

If you know of anyone else who would like to join Lola in volunteering in the Archives (or any other area of the Museum, please contact Sue Foard at sfoard@jewishmuseummd.org.
