Support the JMM’s Capital Campaign

The Jewish Museum of Maryland is currently in the first phase of a capital project that marks a major step towards growing the JMM from a 20th-century museum to a 21st-century one.

The first phase of this project, which will run until the summer of 2024, will include a transformation of the JMM’s front-of-house.

We will make major improvements to the entrance, lobby, and galleries, build a new experimental gallery for exhibitions, programs, and video production, create an audio/video production studio, and do vital restoration work in the Lloyd Street Synagogue.

Though the JMM building is temporarily closed to the public during this first phase, our employees are still working on programming, education, archives and collections, audio and video production, exhibition development, capital project support, and so much more.

This capital project will help the JMM continue to fulfill its mission of connecting people to Jewish experiences, connecting Maryland’s Jewish community to its roots, and inspiring everyone to explore history, take action, and imagine better futures. We look forward to growing together.
