JMM Monthly Zine Archive

What is a zine?

A zine (pronounced “zeen”) is a self-published piece of media that is typically produced in small, limited batches. Zines can be about anything and touch on topics from music, art, and politics, to comedy, graphic art, and personal memoir. They can be handwritten, drawn, typed, collaged, or can combine words and images in other ways.

The JMM monthly zines each focused on a specific Jewish month, sharing content about the holidays, rituals, traditions, and ideas related to each month. This project began with the month of Av 5783, and continued for a full year cycle till Tammuz 5784.
